Above, you may view the scans of this WW2 Royal Canadian Dragoons O/R brass cap badge. In a fine older type brass construction, excellent condition with both original lugs intact. The regiment supporting this badge, affectionately called the "Spring-bok", has given Canada glory honors since 1883. Today the Royal Canadian Dragoons (RCD's) is an armoured regiment of the Canadian Army. It is one of three armoured regiments in the Regular Force.However it has served since the Northwest Campaign of 1885 (Louis Riel Rebellion), and in the Boer War,WW1,WW2,in times past. Still active today in peace keeping (Korea, Somalia,Kosovo, and Afghanistan); always with distinction.
