You are viewing a vintage CEF WWI 217th Battalion collar badge. The badge is made of age-darkened copper, with both original horizontal lugs in good order. In good condition with no chips or dents. Comes with an unreadable hallmark. View scans for details.


This battalion was raised in eastern Saskatchewan in the Moosomin area during July of 1916.The 217th embarked for England on June 2nd, 1917 and upon arrival became part of the 15th Reserve Battalion.
