Above you may view the scans for this rather large WWI 193rd Battalions cap badge. (brass composition) Both original lugs intact and in good order. A clean brass o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age.  A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges. 


Formed in 1916. This battalion was raised in Nova Scotia , with headquarters in Truro. Known as the "Nova Scotia Highlanders". Sailed for England in July of1916,and was used to resupply the 17th Reserve Battalion.
