You are viewing the scans of a WWII era Argyll Light Infantry cap badge. Made of anodized brass with both original lugs in good order, as well as a cross pin.

This regiment did not see active duty overseas but provide recruits for Active Service regiments fighting overseas, as well as preforming guard duty on the home front. "tank" was added to the regimental designation in 1936, and the "light Infantry" badge was used until "tank" was authorized and added to the badge in 1941.
