Above are the scans for a WWI 222nd Battalion collar badge. (Copper composition) Both tang type fasteners are original and in good order.

Formed in July of 1916. This battalion was raised in Manitoba, with headquarters in Winnipeg. Sailed for England in November of 1916, and was immediately added to resupply the 19th Reserve Battalion. This beautiful example is complete with both lugs. A clean voided copper o/r badge with very nice patina giving evidence to its age. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges.
