The 93rd had its headquarters in Peterborough Ontario. It was formed up during the winter and spring of 1916. They sailed off to England on July 15th 1916. It was a contingent of 903 officers and enlisted ranks. Upon their arrival in England this group was assigned to the 39th Infantry Battalion, to replenishment the ranks of troops in the field.
