You are viewing a vintage CEF 68th Battalion collar badge from the WWI era. Made of copper, this is a high quality design with no chips or dents. It still has both its lug type fasteners intact and in good order. Clearly hallmarked "R.W. Inglis Ltd."  Note the two wheat sheaves which appear on each side of the "68". View scans for details.


This battalion was formed in Saskatchewan during the fall and winter of 1915 .This was a large battalion. 1101 members of the 68th sailed for England on June 2nd 1916. Upon arrival they became part of the 32nd Battalion supplying re-enforcements to other battalions fighting in France.
