You are viewing a CEF 145th Batallion Cap badge. Nice clean badge withboth original lugs intact. This batallion was formed from volunteers from the Kent and Westmoreland counties of New Brunswick. They sailed off into history in the great Canadian armada of 1916, which brought 33,000 Canadian volunteer soldiers to the battlefields of Flanders, in defense of the Motherland. 32 transports were involved,at that timethe largest fleet of troop transports ever assembled.
