CEF WWI 232nd battalion Collar Badge set (2)
#00001478
You are viewing a vintage CEF WWI era 232nd battalion collar badge set of two. These badges are made of pickled brass. All lug type attachments are original and in good order. They are made with the typical welded stem lugs as per scans above.
This battalion came from the Battlefords area of Saskatchewan. Formed during the summer of 1916, the 232nd sailed for England on April 18th, 1917. This battalion, perhaps the smallest size (299 members) in the CEF, became part of the reserve battalions already stationed in England.
