You are viewing a vintage 50th CEF Battalion Cap badge. Still in excellent condition with original lugs and cross pin as found. A rare find in excellent display condition, made of brass. Note the polishing wear on the crown. This piece was field used.Comes with a nice hallmark plate on the back. View the scans above for details.

The 50th was also a Calgary battalion. I have been told this style of badge was used in Canada and not overseas. The CEF battalion was raised in 1915 and served in France and Belgium with the 10th Canadian Infantry brigade.
