You are viewing the scans for an extremely rare WWII era cap badge for the1st Canadian Armoured Personnel Carriers. Has nice patina with polish residue, and comes with its cross pin and backing as found The badge has two original welded stem lugs and is made of brass. Note the shape of the "O" in the motto.


This regiment was put together in Holland in 1944. They were equipped with converted "Ram" tanks which came to be known affectionately as "Kangaroos" , which of course led to the badge style. The regiment served with the British 79th Armoured Division throughout the rest of the war. It was disbanded after the fall of Germany in 1945.
