The scans above show a cap badge for the Ontario Tank Regiment. It is in very good condition with both lug type fasteners original and in good order.


Based originally in Oshawa, this regiment served precipitously in Sicily and in the advance up the boot including the Monte Casino campaign, with the 1st Canadian Armored Brigade, attached to Monty's 8th Army. In 1945 they also served in Northwest Europe after the D-Day offensive. A time, a time it was! A heritage well worth remembering.
