This particular one also comes with its original envelope, probably only surviving due to its pristine condition. Meant for service personnel who served on the construction and maintenance of the great German sea fortress meant to protect its western flank from invasion (??) The subject of many stories including numerous fables & true stories as well about Rommel, more aptly known as the Desert Fox and the rise of the wonderful stories of the daring attacks of the British Commando forces in the early forties.
