Formed in 1915. This battalion was raised in Toronto. They sailed for England on August 9th, 1916. It was was relatively large formation consiting of 1,100 officers & inlisted ranks. This rare full sized cap badge is made of copper with nice patina. However the badge hasboth of its original lugs intact. Still a beautiful large badge( approx 7 cm top to bottom) in excellent condition which presents nicely in a display.. A beauty for any collector of Canadian CEF badges. Guaranteed 100% genuine.
