Above are the scans for a well preserved cap badge from the WWI 225th CEF battalion. It has the earlier type of flat fasteners (see scans). They have been clipped by a previous owner, most likely for display purposes. This badge is made of copper and has an unreadable hallmark (view scans). A rare find for CEF badges.
