You are viewing a excellent WWI era Royal Garrison Artillery grouping. It consists of a "non-ubique" cap Badge in brass, two titles "T/RGA/ORKNEY", SOLDIER'S id TAG #368331, small leather binder dated 1912, certificates, and documents for Demobilization and Discharge etc Two photos of the ships of the German Fleet being scuttled at Scapa Flow. (view Scans) Even includes a receipt for returning a great coat. The badges are complete with all original lugs and partial cross pins as found on the titles, a tang type attachment on the cap badge. Perhaps the most distinctive feature of the cap badge is the absence of the typical artillery motto "UBIQUE" usually found on the scroll bar above the cannon. A rare find among British Artillery Badges. The grouping is related to the garrison stationed at Orkney near Scapa Flow in Scotland.
