The scans above show a white metal cap badge for the Canadian Armored Corps. It's design features are in very good condition with lug type fasteners, and cross pin as found, all in good order.
During WW2 it was becoming apparent that armor had become the most powerful aspect of the land armed services and had replaced the cavalry. This corps was formed to hold reinforcements for other armored regiments. At the end of WW2 in 1945 the corps was renamed the "Royal Canadian Armoured Corps"
