You are viewing KC era (WWII) cap badge for the Sault Ste Marie & Sudbury Regiment. Made of white metal, and still with original lugs intact and in good order. An interesting moose motif, reminiscent of the the Algonquin regiment badge. Both units came from the same region.

Some History...
This regiment was, interestingly enough mobilized in Nanaimo BC. They were part of the 6th Canadian Division supplying service and defense for the homeland.
