You are viewing a vintage CEF WWI 92nd Battalion collar badge. This Highland regiment badge is made of copper, with both original horizontal "flat" (early type) style lugs in good order. This badge has a high quality design with no chips or dents or flaws. It is the first of two belted patterns for this badge. This one ha an "Ellis" hallmark.


This battalion was raised in Ontario, with headquarters in Toronto,during the fall of 1915. This was a larger battalion, with 1132 members. The 92nd sailed for England on May 22nd, 1916. Upon arrival they became part of the 5th Reserve Battalion.
