It is described as having a grenade with the Queen's crown upon the ball within a roundel inscribed "Les Fusiliers de Sherbrooke", surmounted by a beaver super-imposed on the circle; the whole resting on a scroll inscribed "Droit au but".

In WW1 this regiment had its origins as an infantry battalion, the 54th Regiment (Carabiniers de Sherbrooke) where the boys engaged the enemy at Amiens, France.
